Ash Wednesday Mass

The season of Lent began at Bishop McGann-Mercy Diocesan High School with Mass on Ash Wednesday, March 1.  Our chaplain, Fr. Maddaloni, was our celebrant.  He reminded us of the fundamental elements of the discipline of Lent: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

This year, the Office of Campus Ministry will be offering some resources for Lent including an online guide to the ancient tradition of the Roman Stational Liturgy and opportunities for prayer during lunch periods on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Check back according to your interest to see the latest postings:
